Schools first, software second
Nobody chooses school software for fun. Every feature has to remove work from someone's day — a teacher, a clerk, a parent — or it does not ship.
School App
Learn . Grow . Succeed
Started in one school in Kochi in 2019. Now used by 2,400 schools across 14 countries — with the same idea behind it.
In 2019 a school in Kochi was running attendance on paper, fees on one spreadsheet, exam marks on another, and communicating with parents through printed circulars that mostly stayed in schoolbags. None of it talked to anything else. SchoolApp began as an attempt to fix exactly that, for exactly one school.
Seven years later the goal has not really changed. Schools should spend their time teaching, not reconciling records across six systems that were never designed to work together.
SchoolApp started as an internal tool for a single 900-student campus in Kochi that was drowning in spreadsheets. The first version did nothing but attendance.
Twelve schools in Kerala and Tamil Nadu joined after word spread among principals. Fees and exams were added because they asked for them, in that order.
The parent app launched, and with it a shift from an admin tool to something families used daily. We raised a Series A to fund support and infrastructure.
Schools in the UAE, Singapore and Kenya came on board, which forced us to get serious about multi-currency fees, timezones and local board structures.
2,400 schools, 1.8 million students, and a team of 96 across three offices. Still shipping every week, still answering support tickets ourselves.
Nobody chooses school software for fun. Every feature has to remove work from someone's day — a teacher, a clerk, a parent — or it does not ship.
Attendance at 8:40am is not a good time for an outage. We over-invest in uptime, backups and slow, careful deploys.
One price per student. No setup fees, no per-module upsell, no charging extra for the parent app. What you see on the pricing page is the invoice.
Support is staffed by people who know the product. Escalations reach an engineer, not a queue.
A team of 96 across Kochi, Bengaluru and Dubai.
