School App

Learn . Grow . Succeed

Getting started

A practical setup path for administrators — what to prepare, what order to do it in, and roughly how long each stage takes.

From signup to first register

Most schools are running attendance within a week. Here is the order we recommend — each step builds on the one before it.

Create your school workspace

Sign up with your school email and confirm the institution details — name, board, academic year start and campus addresses. This takes about five minutes and no card is required.

5 minutes

Import students and staff

Download the CSV templates for students, guardians and staff. Upload them and SchoolApp validates every row before writing anything, so you can fix problems in the preview rather than after the fact.

About 30 minutes

Set up classes and the timetable

Define sections, subjects and teaching loads. The timetable builder flags clashes as you go — a teacher double-booked, or a lab assigned to two sections in the same period.

1–2 hours

Configure fees

Add fee heads, instalment schedules and any concession rules. Test one invoice against a sample student before you publish to families.

About 45 minutes

Invite teachers

Send invitations in bulk. Teachers get a guided walkthrough covering attendance, marks entry and messaging on their first login.

10 minutes

Open the parent app

Publish the parent portal once your data looks right. Families receive an SMS with download links and a one-time code.

Before you start

Having these ready will make the first two steps considerably faster.

Academic year dates confirmed
Student list exported from your current system
Staff email addresses collected
Fee structure approved for the year
Class and section naming agreed
A pilot group of 2–3 teachers chosen

Schools over 800 students get a named onboarding specialist at no extra cost. Book a walkthrough and we will map your current setup before you import anything.
